AVP Kontakt is a privacy-friendly contact form plugin for WordPress. The plugin interface is provided in German.

It provides a configurable standard contact form with email confirmation, local management of confirmed requests, privacy-policy integration and built-in spam protection without external CAPTCHA services.

AVP Kontakt was developed with privacy and GDPR-friendly data processing in mind. The plugin itself does not load external CAPTCHA, tracking or analytics services.

AVP Kontakt uses a confirmation link to verify that the sender has access to the email address entered in the form. The confirmation link is valid for 24 hours. Only after confirmation is the request forwarded for further processing.

Depending on the configured settings, confirmed contact requests can be stored locally in dedicated WordPress database tables and managed in the WordPress administration.

For spam protection, AVP Kontakt works locally and does not require services such as Google reCAPTCHA. IP addresses used for spam protection are not stored in plain text.

Privacy & GDPR

AVP Kontakt is designed with privacy and GDPR-friendly data processing in mind.

Its built-in spam protection does not require external CAPTCHA services, and the plugin itself does not load external tracking or analytics services. Contact requests can be processed and managed locally within WordPress.

AVP Kontakt also integrates with the WordPress privacy tools for exporting and erasing personal data associated with an email address.

Overall GDPR compliance of a website depends on the individual website configuration, hosting, email delivery setup and any additional plugins or external services in use. Installing AVP Kontakt alone does not make an entire website automatically GDPR compliant.

AVP Kontakt verwendet einen Bestätigungslink, um zu prüfen, ob der Absender Zugriff auf die im Formular angegebene E-Mail-Adresse hat. Der Bestätigungslink ist 24 Stunden gültig. Erst nach der Bestätigung wird die Anfrage zur weiteren Verarbeitung weitergeleitet.

Abhängig von den vorgenommenen Einstellungen können bestätigte Kontaktanfragen lokal in eigenen WordPress-Datenbanktabellen gespeichert und im WordPress-Backend verwaltet werden.

Der integrierte Spam-Schutz arbeitet lokal und benötigt keine externen Dienste wie Google reCAPTCHA. Für den Spam-Schutz verwendete IP-Adressen werden nicht im Klartext gespeichert.

Datenschutz & DSGVO

AVP Kontakt wurde mit Blick auf Datenschutz und eine DSGVO-freundliche Datenverarbeitung entwickelt.

Der integrierte Spam-Schutz benötigt keine externen CAPTCHA-Dienste. Das Plugin selbst lädt keine externen Tracking- oder Analyse-Dienste. Kontaktanfragen können lokal innerhalb von WordPress verarbeitet und verwaltet werden.

AVP Kontakt unterstützt außerdem die WordPress-Datenschutzwerkzeuge zum Exportieren und Löschen personenbezogener Daten, die einer E-Mail-Adresse zugeordnet sind.

Ob eine Website insgesamt DSGVO-konform betrieben wird, hängt zusätzlich von der individuellen Konfiguration, dem Hosting, dem Mailversand sowie weiteren eingesetzten Plugins und externen Diensten ab. Die Installation von AVP Kontakt allein macht eine Website nicht automatisch DSGVO-konform.

Privacy

Depending on the plugin settings, confirmed contact requests can be stored in dedicated database tables. The WordPress privacy tools can export and erase data associated with an email address.

Abhängig von den Plugin-Einstellungen können bestätigte Kontaktanfragen in eigenen Datenbanktabellen gespeichert werden. Die WordPress-Datenschutzwerkzeuge können Daten exportieren und löschen, die einer E-Mail-Adresse zugeordnet sind.

Data is kept by default when the plugin is uninstalled and is removed only if the administrator enabled the corresponding deletion option beforehand.

Beim Deinstallieren bleiben die Daten standardmäßig erhalten. Sie werden nur entfernt, wenn der Administrator die entsprechende Löschoption zuvor aktiviert hat.

AVP Kontakt Pro is a separate plugin distributed outside WordPress.org. Pro-only functionality is not included in this Free plugin and is not unlocked by a license key inside this plugin.
